Phoebe Sinclair (she / hers) is a: writer, wanderer, friend, author, listener, partner, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, god parent, zinester, bike-commuter, facilitator, learner, community-worker, writing critique group member, delightfully confounding, and a trouble-maker.

In 1996, she arrived in Boston to attend college and has enjoyed life in the neighborhoods of Back Bay, Allston, and Dorchester –finally landing in Boston’s best neighborhood (her opinion), where she and her partner have resided for over fifteen years. Before Boston, Phoebe cut her teeth on life along the Jersey Shore. She visits often. Nothing smells as good as the beach.

Phoebe holds a BFA in Writing, Literature and Publishing from Emerson College, won the Susan P. Bloom Children’s Book Discovery Award from PEN New England, and was the Ivan Gold Fellow at the Writers’ Room of Boston. Her debut novel, CONFESSIONS OF A CANDY SNATCHER, received a star review from School Library Journal and is a Gold Standard Selection from Junior Library Guild.
